Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are starting off 2020 with a bang! We want to share a few new things happening around here and in the area.

Block of the Month
We have a new Block of the Month that starts February 22nd and a class will be held starting at 10am for those that want to see how the block is done before you start. You are welcome to stay and work on it as well, until the shop is closed at 4pm. Registration is $25 and each month is $32.99. You can set up auto pay or pay each month. If you want to register, please call the shop if the website is not working correctly and we will be glad to help you. You also have the opportunity to purchase the applique pieces already laser cut for you.

Quilts of Valor
Freedom Quilter's will meet Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 5:30pm. Bring your machines to sew, we have a lot of quilts that need done so we can award them to recipients. I also still have pins and cards for members. If you haven't come to a meeting yet and want to be a member, registration is $5.

Classes
We are working on the class schedule for 2020 and should be done by the end of next week. I will send another email with that list but you can always check out dates, times, and prices on the website or on Facebook.

Last but not least, we would like to invite you to volunteer with us at the Fulton County Museum. They will be launching their Quilt Bees Quilt Exhibit in May! We are participating by helping to stabilize their antique quilts, and we are holding a lecture with Mary Kerr, and two workshops, during the 3 months it will be on display. We also will be having Mary Kerr at our shop, that same weekend, for a half day workshop. In order for the quilt exhibit to be ready by May, we are looking for volunteers that can hand quilt (a vintage quilt that will be raffled off needs hand quilted), tying quilts, and stabilizing torn areas on the vintage quilts for the exhibit. If interested please call the number below in the flyer and Kathy would be happy to speak with you about volunteering.

We are always getting new fabric, so make sure you come in and check them out or take a look at our website and shop online. We have many new panels and more coming soon.
As we start a new year and new decade, we hope you will join us in the shop for new activities and events. Don't forget Sip'n Sew and our late night Lock-ins with Annie. Times and dates will be online soon! Thanks for being loyal customers and part of our sewing family! We hope to see your beautiful faces in the shop soon!
