Beginning Quilting II
A five-week class to learn new techniques – two methods of Flying Geese, Pinwheels, curved seams, and mitered borders.This class will give you a little more of a challenge than a beginner’s class! The goal of this class is to build your piecing and cutting skills and introduce new techniques. It is suitable for anyone comfortable with a rotary cutter and a ¼” seam.
The techniques in this class are designed to be more challenging. You will be introduced to the following:
• Flying Geese
• Quarter-square triangles
• Square in a square
• Curved piecing
• Setting blocks on point
• Sashing
• Cornerstones
• Mitered borders
